哈佛:中国盛传的哈佛校训系编造
关于哈佛大学的校训在中国互联网上盛传已久。近日，哈佛大学图书馆官方网站惊现留言:有人问，在哪里可以看到传说中的哈佛大学校训?对此，哈佛大学校方在其官网上表示，这些校训都是假的，在哈佛墙上看不到所谓的校训，并称所谓校训都是编造的。
2013年7月16日，一名网友在哈佛图书馆官网留言提问:“我听说在哈佛大学图书馆的墙上可以看到校训，请问在哪里可以看到?”。这个问题引发了广泛的关注，浏览量高达14万。
哈佛大学校图书馆管理员表示:“关于哈佛大学的校训在网上早已盛传，尤其是在中国，但我可以证明，哈佛任何墙壁上都没有所谓的校训。”
这个回复最后还援引《华尔街日报》2012年11月15日的报道称，新一代中国学生对所谓校训的灵感仅仅来自于一个关于哈佛的骗局。
